A compilation of all Cairo Illustrated pieces created curated in a solo exhibit for the first time in Cairo, Egypt. To walk in a busy street of Cairo is to have every inch of the city demands your constant, and undivided attention. In order to understand this city, the artist wished to bring the bustling city to a momentary standstill. Each illustration captures a moment in space, expanding it visually as if freezing it in time. The use of black and white simplifies and reduces, while the details maintain the moment’s intricacies.
